About The Workshop

Have you ever thought the ability to extemporise when playing baroque music is a complete mystery?  Do you think it is only for some especially clever people who can just do it naturally as if by magic?  This workshop will dispell these myths giving you a collection of simple 'figures', which you can apply to a multitude of pieces.  This will create a foundation from which you can explore extemporisation independently.

Prerequisites

Some basic knowledge of harmony would be beneficial for some of the examples, but not mandatory. Have a recorder to hand to try the examples.
