Workshop Terms and Conditions

 

Workshop Content

When you purchase your place on a workhop, you are agreeing to the following terms an conditions:

Although we try to provide workshop content that is suitable for all participants, it is not possible to ascertain the lexact evel of knowledge and experience of each participant, therefore, we do not give refunds for the following:

• the content is too difficult.
• the content is too easy and I have learnt nothing new.

Software and Hardware

The functioning of your computer device, internet connect, web browser and audio / visual equipment and software is your responsobility.  We will, therefore, not give a refund for the following:

• Any lack of suitable internet connection.
• Non-functioning audio / visual equipment or software.
• Computer device malfunction.
• General software compatibility issues.

Refund policy

Please be aware of the following conditions pertaining to refunds:

• If you give a minimum of 1 week's notice to cancel your place on a worshop, you will receive a refund of your fee.  If you give less than 1 week's notice to cancel your place on a workshop, it is up to the discretion of the workshop provider to transfer your fee to a future workshop of the same value.  If no such alternative workshop is available, you forfeit your fee.
• Non-attendance without notice: no refund applicable.
• If the workshop providers need to cancel the workshop for any reason, you will receive a refund.
• If the workshop provider's hardware or software mulfunctions during the workshop causing the workshop not to proceed, you will receive a refund.

Workshop Recordings

• Workshops will only be recorded with both audio and video with permission of all participants.
• Workshop providers may use notation software to transcribe the audio into text at their discretion.
• If a workshop audio and video is recorded, or a transcription into text is made from the audio, you may request a copy if you were unable to attend a workshop for which you have paid and for which you are not elligible for a refund.
• If a workshop audio and video is recorded, or a transcript of the audio is made, you may purchase a copy for a price determined by the workshop providers.

Workshop Materials

• Workshop materials in the form of downloadable files are made available free of charge.
• Hard copies of workshop materials are not provided.  It is the responsibility of the participants to print workshop materials, if they so desire.
